MONO-XERO
First-ever Kickstarter project I was trusted by. Luke Wadey’s new additions to the Mono deck line went live in July 2019. Card potions of Xero and Xero R were offered as add-ons as well as an already printed Mono-X deck to complete the set. A stretch goal for these was reached shortly after launch and reaching the funding goal.
ENDLESS TIME (ORIGIN BLUE)
This deck, designed by Aleksander Feldman, went on Kickstarter in September 2019. Card potions were available as add-ons during his campaign, and after the successful funding of this deck, they went up on the Endless Time online store.
ARW V1
Luke Wadey launched his Kickstarter in early December 2019. Card potions were available as an add-on. Anyone who ordered two got two bottles with cards wrapped opposite each other, so ARW on the back design could be recreated.
CONTAGION
Project created by Bill Davis and Dane Valnes in June 2020, bringing playing cards than are best described by their Kickstarter starting line: "In an age of contagion, nothing is more infectious than fun.". Card potions were offered as an add-on.
LOW POLY SHARKS
This playing card debut project by Unrivaled Decks was launched in June 2020, inspired by sharks and a low poly graphics style. For the first time, numbered sets were offered, limited to 5 sets of three card potions for backers and an extra set for project creators. The set consisted of two card potions with art cards and one showcasing back design. All sets found their new home.
MONO-HEXA
Another successful project launched by Luke Wadey brought to life the fourth installation of his Mono series in August 2020. Card potions were introduced as an add-on, and they showcased Mono-heXa's intricate geometric design. (+ they were purple, which is a great plus since it's my favorite color!)
ARW V2
Project by Luke Wadey that is the second design in the ARW lineup. The neon-colored arrow right under the multidirectional graphics breathes typography - typical Luke, huh? ARW v2 card potions were offered as an add-on. The campaign was successfully funded in April 2021.
QUANTUM
A quantum physics-inspired deck of cards for all physics and playing card lovers out there, funded in July 2021. Court cards feature important scientists from the field. Reworked standard USPCC faces allow for easy use in magic and back design by Inna Bigun for cardistry flourishes. Card potion sets with court cards and back design were offered to backers.
MONO-X: CHROMA EDITION
The successful Mono-X deck is now in Chroma Edition. The deck features metallic ink and a different design than the original version. The campaign flew to its funding goal and beyond in September 2021. Another great deck by Luke Wadey explores the use of monochromatic color in playing card design. Of course, it could not miss inside card potions!
